I'm really struggling with the thought of parting with this. Its been such a great friend for so many years. I had it sold a while back but it didn't work out so I thought about keeping her for a time longer but I just can't do it right now. Its an absolute amazing piece of hardware. There is no issues with the controls, everything is quiet and smooth, everything works as it should, the lights work, the stereo reverse, etc all work, The tape 1 and 2 inputs work super, especially using the 901 equalizer. The quality is second to none. The sonics are wonderful, the stage presence is what its all about. You will know where the stage is and where the instruments are from rock to orchestra. I have played LedZepplin to orchestra to Jools Holland, and even Green Day American Idiot,(yeah I still am into Rock and Roll) the stage presence is unbelievable. I even had some Klispch KG4s with the oldbell horn and to have stereo presented in a room like headphones. This amp performs where no other amp has. I have had Technics, Carver, Marantz, SoundCraftsman, Pioneer and Harmon Kardon Citations, nothing has presented the sonics that the Mac can do. I have been using the Mac with Bose 901 IVs for several years, and I also have a set of RBH MC6Ct towers that I used for a theater sound , hooking the Mac to these was exciting to hear how the Mac could push these aluminum drivers to the max, the Mac can really drive these 200 watt speakers and the Bose and send chills down your spine. I lost the blanking jacks for the phono 2 input as they stuck out from the back and I thought would be ruined in shipping, now I can't find them, they don't affect the operation of the unit but I'll keep looking. I now have Russound whole house audio and have to sell stuff before I retire.
